ST. LOUIS – During the Blues 2010-11 campaign, Blues fans for the first time in history soldout each of the 41 games at home. In 14 of the 41 games at Scottrade Center this season, the Blues scored four-or-more goals which gave all ticket holders a free Big Mac at all participating McDonald’s in the St. Louis or Metro East area. Blues fans were eligible for 268,100 free Big Macs which comes to nearly $1,000,000 in 2010-11.
"This promotion has become a very popular one with our fans," said Mike McCarthy, CEO St. Louis Blues. "We truly enjoy having partners like McDonald's who not only embrace our fans but enjoy being as associated with the BlueNote as we are with them."
“Over the years we have given away millions and millions of dollars in Big Macs for Blues goals,” said Pat Hillmeyer, President of St. Louis and Metro East McDonald’s Co-op. “This Blues season was the most fun we've had doing it with a third of the games resulting in a free Big Macs for our customers and Blues fans."
