"The Coach's Show with Ken Hitchcock" to Air Wednesdays this Season on 1460 The Fan Beginning September 26th

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets and 1460 The Fan are pleased to introduce "The Coach's Show with Ken Hitchcock". The show featuring the Blue Jackets head coach will air each Wednesday from 3 to 4 p.m. on 1460 The Fan beginning September 26th.

Hitchcock will be joined by Big Show host Bruce Hooley and Blue Jackets FSN Ohio play-by-play announcer Jeff Rimer to discuss news surrounding the team and the National Hockey League. The show will follow ESPN's syndicated show "This is ESPN Radio" and will precede "The Big Show" with Kirk Herbstreit and Hooley.

1460 The Fan has been the AM radio home of Blue Jackets hockey since the team joined the NHL in 2000. It serves as the flagship station of the Blue Jackets Radio Network, which consists of 28 stations across Ohio, and is home to "The Coach's Show with Ken Hitchcock", "Between the Pipes" and all Blue Jackets preseason and regular season games.

The season debut of "Between the Pipes" is scheduled for this Sunday, September 9, and the show will air each Sunday from 10 to 11 a.m. This week's show will be hosted by Mark Wyant and Bill Davidge, who will be joined by Hitchcock and newly acquired center Michael Peca.

1460 THE FAN is a member of the Dispatch Broadcast Group which includes Mix 97.1 FM, WBNS-10TV, WTHR-TV, Indianapolis, the Ohio News Network and the Radio Sound Network.
