Fans flocked to Nationwide Arena to get free autographs from their favorite Blue Jackets players, tour the locker room, participate in a variety of interactive games with players and more at 5th Line Fest.
The season kick-off party was held on Friday night from 6-9 p.m. One new feature this year was the Blue Jackets Combine, which gave fans the chance to test their skills with stick handling, accuracy and agility drills.
Other entertainment included street hockey, face painting, a bounce house and, of course, our favorite bug Stinger! There was also a Q&A held from the 5th Line Fest Stage that included a session with Nick Foligno, followed by newcomers Brandon Saad and Gregory Campbell.
The festival was the perfect way to celebrate the start of hockey season! But don't take our word for it.
