Jackets Trim Roster By Five

COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Columbus Blue Jackets have made their second roster moves of training camp today, assigning five players to the Springfield Falcons, Columbus’ American Hockey League affiliate, Executive Vice President and General Manager Scott Howson announced. The current training camp roster consists of 48 players.

The five players who were assigned to Springfield were: forwards Kyle Neuber, Chris Francis and Tyler Murovich and defensemen Michael Ratchuk and Dalton Prout.

The Blue Jackets continue preseason action Tuesday when the club hosts the Minnesota Wild. Game time from Nationwide Arena is set for 7 p.m. ET. The game can be heard on the Wheeling Island Hotel & Casino Blue Jackets Radio Network on The Fan at 1460 AM and online at BlueJackets.com.

Single-game tickets for all Blue Jackets’ regular season games, including the Friday, Oct. 15 home opener vs. the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks, are on sale now. Ticket prices start at $22 and are on sale at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office, The FOX Sports Ohio Blue Line Team Store at The Mall at Tuttle Crossing, ticket outlets at the Chiller Ice Rinks and all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers.
