Friday Five: W2W4 Tonight

by Rob Mixer / Columbus Blue Jackets

Setting the stage...

It's the official beginning of the unofficial "Curtis McElhinney" chapter for the Blue Jackets: without No. 1 goaltender and Vezina Trophy winner Sergei Bobrovsky for the next 4-5 weeks, the Blue Jackets are faced with a big test and they will face some of the NHL's best over that stretch. Tonight, they welcome the Minnesota Wild - their expansion brethren in 2000 - to Nationwide Arena for the first of two meetings this season. The Wild come into the game off a thriling 4-3 win over the Chicago Blackhawks last night, while the Blue Jackets last checked in with a 1-0 victory over Tampa Bay on Tuesday in Columbus.
