COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets will conduct development camp for 19 of the club's prospects, including six picks selected from the 2008 Entry Draft, from Monday, July 7 through Friday, July 11 at the Dispatch Ice Haus. The development camp will begin with medicals and fitness testing as well as an on-ice session Monday before four days of on and off-ice workouts commence on Tuesday.

On-ice workouts, which are open to the public, will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. on Monday and from 10:30 a.m. to noon Tuesday through Friday.
Conducting the on-ice elements of the camp will be Blue Jackets Head Coach Ken Hitchcock, Assistant Coach Claude Noel and Development Coach Tyler Wright.
Among the 24 players participating are 16 players who have been selected by the Blue Jackets in the NHL Entry Draft, including 2007 first round draft pick RW Jakub Voracek (seventh overall) and six players who were drafted in the 2008 Entry Draft – D Cody Goloubef (second round), D Steven Delisle (fourth round) D Drew Olson (fourth round), LW Matt Calvert (fifth round), C/RW Tomas Kubalik (fifth round) and D Brent Regner (fifth round).
