Columbus Blue Jackets Preseason Road Games at Pittsburgh Saturday and Minnesota Thursday to Air on NHL Network

COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Columbus Blue Jackets announced today that the team's road games at Pittsburgh on Saturday, Sept. 25 and at Minnesota on Thursday, Sept. 30 will be televised on tape delay on the NHL Network. In addition, the club's remaining three home games, including tonight's contest vs. the Penguins, will be streamed live at

NHL Network subscribers can watch a tape-delayed broadcast of tomorrow's Blue Jackets-Penguins game from the new Consol Energy Center on Sunday, Sept. 26 at 1 a.m., 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Subscribers can also watch a tape-delayed telecast of the Blue Jackets-Wild game from the Xcel Energy center in Minnesota on Thursday, Sept. 30 with the first re-airing set for 11 p.m. that night and again on Friday, Oct. 1 at 4 a.m., 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Locally, the NHL Network can be found on Time Warner Cable channel 324. Subscribers to other cable systems may check local channel guides for programming information.

In addition to tonight's game, fans will be able to watch home preseason games against the Minnesota Wild on Tuesday, Sept. 28 (7 p.m.) and Atlanta Thrashers on Saturday, Oct. 2 (6 p.m.) on the team’s website, The live coverage features the in-arena video feed accompanied by the radio call from the Wheeling Island Hotel & Casino Blue Jackets Radio Network team of George Matthews and Bob McElligott.

Columbus opens its 10th National Hockey League regular season in Stockholm, Sweden on October 8-9 against the San Jose Sharks as part of the 2010 Compuware NHL Premiere™ and NHL Face-Off™ before returning to Nationwide Arena for the home opener on Friday, Oct. 15 against defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks.
