COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets have announced a new multi-year corporate partnership between the National Hockey League franchise and Meyers Jewelers. The agreement designates the family-operated central Ohio jeweler as the Preferred Jeweler of the Blue Jackets.
The partnership is highlighted by name entitlement for the unique premium seating area known as the “Meyers Jewelers Jewelry Box.” This private box with four seats positioned directly between the home and visiting team benches puts fans in the middle of the game action.
In addition, Meyers Jewelers’ partnership includes a philanthropic component with presenting sponsorship of the Blue Jackets Foundation’s Valentine’s Day Teddy Bear Raffle, an in-game fundraiser that gives fans the chance to win teddy bears customized with Valentine’s Day voice messages from Blue Jackets players. Meyers Jewelers is enhancing the event by supplying a few exclusive grand prizes to accompany the bears, including a Breitling watch inscribed with Blue Jackets captain Rick Nash’s signature, a diamond pendant necklace, and a $100 gift card for Meyers Jewelers.
Meyers Jewelers is one of the longest-running, family-operated jewelers in central Ohio. The exclusive dealer of the new Bold by Movado watch, Meyers also carries luxury brands including Breitling, Simon G, Philip Stein, and Ritani. The store also offers a full Pandora boutique and is one of the largest U.S. dealers of Hearts on Fire®, the pre-eminent consumer diamond jewelry brand.
The Blue Jackets return to action tonight when the club hosts the Phoenix Coyotes. Game time from Nationwide Arena is set for 7 p.m. ET. Live coverage on FOX Sports Ohio HD begins with the Blue Jackets Live pre-game show starting at 6:30 p.m. The game will also be broadcast live on the Wheeling Island Hotel & Casino Blue Jackets Radio Network, including flagship station 97.1 The Fan and online at BlueJackets.com.
