Columbus Blue Jackets Breakaway Tour Celebrates 10th Year of Bringing Street Hockey Event Across Ohio

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets are bringing the fun and excitement of the game of hockey to cities across Ohio for the 10th consecutive year with the Blue Jackets Breakaway Tour 2010 presented by Medical Mutual of Ohio. The interactive tour featuring street hockey games will visit numerous locations across the state throughout the spring and summer.

The Blue Jackets Radio Network affiliates supporting local Breakaway events are WCLT (Newark), WARF (Akron/Canton), WFIN (Findlay) and WBEX (Chillicothe).

At each stop, Breakaway attendees can pick up various giveaway items including a t-shirt compliments of IGS Energy while supplies last. Fans will also have the opportunity to register to win prizes such as autographed merchandise and a grand prize package consisting of four Time Warner Cable HD Lounge lower bowl seats (including dinner for four) to the Blue Jackets 2010-2011 Opening Night game in October and a team-autographed jersey.
