COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets and Bob Evans announced December 1 a new multi-year corporate partnership. The agreement encompasses the introduction of Bob Evans products at Nationwide Arena concession stands as well as promotion and execution of the "Bob Evans Honorary Captain" program which spans 20 Blue Jackets home games during the 2009-10 season.
Fans attending Blue Jackets games and arena events at Nationwide Arena will now notice Bob Evans bratwurst featured at several concession stands. Additional Bob Evans products are expected to be available in arena later this season.
The "Bob Evans Honorary Captain" in-market promotion, which is currently underway, gives kids (ages 8-12) a chance to win four game tickets, a Blue Jackets jersey, a Blue Jackets-branded stick and the unique opportunity to watch pre-game warm-ups from the home bench. One lucky winner will also have the chance to meet a Blue Jackets player after the game. Fans may enter the contest now by visiting the Fan Zone/Contests page on BlueJackets.com.
"We're excited to welcome a hometown company like Bob Evans to our team and we're very pleased to have the opportunity to showcase the same signature products at our in-arena concessions that are found on grocery store shelves," said Cameron Scholvin, Blue Jackets Vice President of Corporate Development.
