Matthew Rust was selected by the Florida Panthers in the 4th round (101st overall) in 2007. He was acquired by trade from the Panthers for Mathieu Roy.


In 2009-10, Rust played in 45 games for the Michigan Wolverines of the CCHA. He scored 13-27-40 along with a +21 and 24 penalty minutes.

In 2008-09, Rust played in 37 games for the Michigan Wolverines of the CCHA. He scored 11-11-22 along with a +18 and 39 penalty minutes. He also played for Team USA in the World Juniors and in 6 games recorded 3-1-4 and 10 penalty minutes.

In 2007-08, Rust played in 38 games for the Michigan Wolverines of the CCHA. He scored 12-11-23 along with a +13 and 69 penalty minutes.

Trent Vogelhuber was selected by the Columbus Blue Jackets in the 7th round (211th overall) in 2007.

In 2009-10, Vogelhuber played in 42 games for the Miami (OH) Redhawks of the CCHA. He scored 8-4-12 with 30 penalty minutes while leading Miami to consecutive Frozen Four appearances.

In 2008-09, Vogelhuber played in 29 games for the Miami (OH) Redhawks of the CCHA. He scored 2-2-4 with 22 penalty minutes while leading Miami to a Frozen Four Runner-up title.

In 2007-08, Vogelhuber played in 2 games for the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL. He scored 0-1-1 before suffering from another season ending knee injury.

In 2006-07, Vogelhuber played in 31 games for the St. Louis Bandits of the NAHL. He scored 10-16-26 with 24 penalty minutes before suffering a season ending knee injury.
