After years of waiting, All-Star Weekend has come and gone. An what an incredible weekend it was!

From the excitement of the All-Star Game and Skills Competition to the atmosphere surrounding Nationwide Arena all weekend long, Columbus put on a first-rate show for the hockey world. Much of that success is because of Blue Jackets fans from all over Ohio. Those fans took to the web this week to talk about their All-Star experiences and the Blue Jackets' return to the regular season push.

Let's catch up on the buzz:

BS Hockey gets us started with a couple cool GIFs from the 2015 Honda NHL Skills Competition. Reach out to them and let's create some more! BS Hockey also gave a great argument for why the All-Sar Game is still so important. For a host city and its fans, it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

BS Hockey wasn't alone in their appreciation of the All-Star festivities. The Union Blue also gave Columbus high marks, and they know that the world took notice of what a great hockey city Columbus is. The city and its fans were the real All-Stars.

There were lots of laughs during the break, but The Cannon thinks the best moment of All-Star Weekend just might have been Ryan Johansen and Nick Foligno's press conference after the Skills Competition. We might have to agree, and it's always worth another look.

Former Blue Jacket Rick Nash got his customary greeting at Nationwide Arena, but Union and Blue poses the question: is it time to leave Rick alone?

Union and Blue also gave their insights on another center-stage event for hockey that was announced during All-Star Weekend. The NHL announced its plans to bring back the World Cup of Hockey in the fall of 2016. With a big international event on the horizon, which Blue Jackets can we expect to see hit the ice in Toronto in the newest world hockey competition?
