Can the Blue Jackets Make it Four Straight!

by Jeff Rimer / Columbus Blue Jackets

February 12

The Blue Jackets attempt to extend their winning streak to a season high four games tonight as they host the Vancouver Canucks at Nationwide. Look for Anton Stralman to return to the Jackets' lineup tonight, but I do not expect to see Freddie Modin to play until Sunday at the earliest.

The Canucks, 3-0 winners in Florida behind the 31 save, shutout effort of Roberto Luongo will give the Canadian Olympic netminder the night off tonight. Andrew Raycroft gets the start in goal for Vancouver.

Steve Mason will make his fourth straight start tonight for the Blue Jackets after posting back-to-back shutouts in the last two games. Mason has stopped 90-of-91 shots in the thee starts.

Tonight's game is in HD, beginning with Blue Jackets Live at 6:30 p.m.! Good tickets remain for both tonight's and Sunday's final Jackets' game against the Chicago Blackhawks. With the Olympic Break the Jackets do not return to action until March 2 in a home start against tonight's visitors from Vancouver.
