(Injured Reserve on Dec. 1 retroactive to Nov. 30) is sidelined indefinitely… C Derek MacKenzie (lower body injury; Injured Reserve on Mar. 11 retroactive to Mar. 9) is expected to miss at least one month… D Jan Hejda (lower body injury, Mar. 13 vs. Edmonton) is expected to miss the rest of the season… Man Games Lost to Injury: 223.

HUSELIUS LIGHTING UP THE OPPOSITION
LW Kristian Huselius has collected 3-5-8 in his last four games, to raise his season totals to 20-35-55 in 64 outings. He has registered 15 multi-point games, including four in the past seven. He collected a season-high 1-3-4 vs. Edmonton on Mar. 15 and added 1-1-2 vs. Minnesota on Mar. 19 to hit the 20-goal plateau for the fifth-straight season and seventh time in his eight NHL campaigns. He has points in 12 of the past 19 games (6-16-22) and has racked up 9-20-29 the past 26 games. He is also tied for the team lead in power play scoring with 8-13-21.

NASH RETURNS WITH A BANG, JOINS EXCLUSIVE COMPANY
RW Rick Nash, who missed the previous four games due to injury, returned to the lineup vs. Minnesota on Mar. 19 and scored a pair of goals, including the game-winner to help the Jackets erase a 2-0 deficit. It marked his fourth multi-goal game and 14th multi-point game of the season. The goals pushed his season total to 30, giving him 30-or-more goals in three-straight seasons and in five of his seven NHL campaigns. He is one of four active players to score at least 30 goals at least five times before their 26th birthday. The others are Ilya Kovalchuk (six times), Owen Nolan (five) and Alex Ovechkin (five). Nash has collected points in 13 of the past 19 games (11-6-17) and leads the club in goals (15th-T in the NHL), points and shots (218).

GARON WINS THIRD-STRAIGHT, STAYS UNBEATEN IN REGULATION AT NATIONWIDE ARENA
G Mathieu Garon has posted a 12-9-4 record with a 2.76 GAA, .905 SV% and two shutouts in 32 games this season, including a 6-0-3 with a 1.99 GAA, .933 SV% and one shutout in 10 appearances at Nationwide Arena. He has gone 3-0-1 with a 2.23 GAA and .925 SV% in his last five games dating to Feb. 14 with wins in each of his last three outings, including an 18-save effort in a 4-2 win over Minnesota at home on Mar. 19.

TEAM NEWS & NOTES
The Blue Jackets have gone 14-11-3 since Jan. 7 and are 7-4-3 under interim head coach Claude Noel… Columbus has gone 6-2-2 in its last 10 games at home… The Blue Jackets need 12 points in their final 10 games to reach 82 points for just the second time in franchise history (92 points in 2008-09)… The Jackets have scored three or more goals in eight of the past 13 games and are 5-1-2 in those contests... RW Jakub Voracek has points in three of the past four games and 10 of the past 13 (4-10-14) to raise his season totals to a career-high 12-30-42 in 71 games… C Antoine Vermette ranks second on the club in scoring with 22-34-56 in 72 games, setting career highs in assists and points. He is two goals shy of matching his career-high of 24 set in 81 games with Ottawa in 2007-08. Since joining the Blue Jackets last March, he has registered 29-40-69 in 89 games (.775 points per game) compared to 80-87-167 in 359 games with the Senators (.465)… G Steve Mason is 15-11-8 this season when facing 25-or-more shots compared to a 2-11-0 record when facing fewer than 25 shots… C Derick Brassard has points in seven of the past 10 games (1-6-7) after being held to 1-3-4 the previous 16 outings.
