The Columbus Blue Jackets will honor Major League Soccer's 2008 Eastern Conference Champion Columbus Crew during tonight's game between the Blue Jackets and Edmonton Oilers. Game time at Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. Crew General Manager Mark McCullers, MLS Coach of the Year Sigi Schmid and team players will be on hand for the game as guests of the Blue Jackets. The Crew will be recognized in-arena during the first period for winning the club's first Eastern Conference championship and earning a berth in the MLS Cup 2008.
The Crew will take on the New York Red Bulls in MLS Cup 2008 on Sunday at Home Depot Center in Carson, California. Game time is set for 3:30 p.m. ET. Columbus advanced to its first MLS Cup by defeating the Chicago Fire, 2-1, at Crew Stadium last Thursday night. Come out tonight, cheer on the Jackets and wish the "Black&Gold" good luck as they try to bring the MLS Cup to Columbus!
