Blue Jackets Assign Forward Tom Sestito to Syracuse (AHL)

COLUMBUS, OHIO - The Columbus Blue Jackets have assigned left wing Tom Sestito to the Syracuse Crunch, Columbus’ American Hockey League affiliate, General Manager Scott Howson announced today.

Sestito, 22, appeared in one game for the Blue Jackets against the Edmonton Oilers on November 16 and registered five penalty minutes in the game. He has collected five goals and three assists for eight points and 64 penalty minutes in 16 games with the Crunch this season. He has recorded 20-31-51 and 434 penalty minutes in 134 career AHL games. He made his NHL debut with the Blue Jackets against St. Louis on April 6, 2008 and registered 17 penalty minutes in the game.

The Blue Jackets return to action Saturday when they host the Calgary Flames. Game time from Nationwide Arena is 7 p.m. ET.
