Blue Jackets Announce Several Hundred Additional Tickets Now on Sale for March 12 Home Game vs. Pittsburgh Penguins

COLUMBUS, OHIO – The Columbus Blue Jackets announced February 13 that several hundred additional tickets that were previously held in reserve have been released and are now on sale for the March 12 home game against Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The defending Eastern Conference champion Penguins, led by 2006-07 NHL Most Valuable Player Crosby and current NHL scoring leader Evgeni Malkin, will be making their first appearance at Nationwide Arena since Jan. 11, 2006.

Tickets to the Penguins game and all 2008-09 regular season home games are on sale now at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office, FOX Sports Ohio Blue Line at The Mall at Tuttle Crossing, The Chiller Ice Rinks and all Ticketmaster Ticket Centers. The Blue Jackets return to action tonight when they host the defending Stanley Cup champion Detroit Red Wings. Face-off at Nationwide Arena is set for 7 p.m. ET. Live coverage on FOX Sports Ohio HD will begin with the Blue Jackets Live pre-game show starting at 6:30 p.m. The game will also broadcast live on the Wheeling Island Hotel Casino Blue Jackets Radio Network and flagship stations WBNS-AM, Sports Radio 1460 The Fan and WWCD-FM, CD101 beginning at 6:30 p.m.
