The 37th Annual Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) state ice hockey semifinals and championship game are set to be played at Nationwide Arena on Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8, marking the 12th consecutive year that the tournament will be held at the home of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The tournament, which began with 80 teams, is down to its final four teams with the winners of each district – Mentor Lake Catholic, Cleveland St. Ignatius, Sylvania Northview and Columbus St. Charles Preparatory - advancing to the semifinals. The complete weekend schedule follows:
Friday, March 7
1 p.m. – Semifinal: Sylvania Northview vs. Columbus St. Charles Preparatory
4 p.m. – Semifinal: Mentor Lake Catholic vs. Cleveland St. Ignatius
Saturday, March 8
10 a.m. – Senior All-Star Game
2 p.m. – OHSAA Championship Game
Time Warner Cable Sports Channel will televise both semifinal games with tape-delayed broadcasts at 6 p.m. (Semi #1) and 8 p.m. (Semi #2) on Friday, March 7 while the championship game will be televised on SportsTime Ohio (STO) with a tape-delayed telecast on Saturday, March 8 at 9 p.m. Dave Wilson and John Mowat will call the action for all three games.
