Chicago Blackhawk prospects Jonathan Toews, Dan Bertram and Ben Shutron are currently participating in Team Canada's National Junior Development Camp in Calgary, Alberta. The camp is being conducted as a prelude to the 2007 IIHF World Junior Championship. Players competing in the camp in hopes of landing a spot on the National Junior U-20 team are scrimmaging against each other and began playing intersquad games on Wednesday.

All three Blackhawk prospects are skating with Team White. Toews, who tallied an assist in White's 3-2 win in the first intersquad contest, scored on a breakaway goal up center ice on Thursday night in a 6-3 win over Red. He added his second assist in two days and again centered a line with wingers Brad Marchand and Chris Stewart. Bertram, who is scoreless in both contests thus far, was on a line with center Andrew Cogliano and winger James Sheppard, while Shutron was paired with Marc-André Gragnani on the blue line and had an assist in the win on Thursday night.

The 2007 IIHF World Junior Championship will take place in Leksand and Mora, Sweden beginning on December 26, 2006 and will conclude on January 5, 2007.
