> Rockford suffered their second shutout of the season a night after matching a season-high with six goals.

> Rockford has played 13 games so far this season, and five of them have come against the Peoria Rivermen. A night after matching a season high with six goals against Peoria on Friday, the IceHogs were shut out by the Rivermen on Saturday. Saturday marked the second time this season in which the IceHogs were shutout.
> The 13 combined goals on Friday in Peoria matched a single-game record for the IceHogs during the club’s AHL era. Rockford and Texas scored a combined 13 goals in the Hogs 8-5 win over the Stars on 12/8/10.
> Rockford set a club AHL-record with its fifth straight loss at home and has not won at home since Opening Night on Oct. 8. The IceHogs are 0-4-0-0 at the BMO Harris Bank Center against the Midwest Division.

Second-year winger Ben Smith notched five points in three games for Rockford during Week 6. Smith opened the week with the game-winning goal and #1 Star of the Game honors on Wednesday in Grand Rapids. On Friday in Peoria, Smith recorded his second multi-goal game of the season and added an assist in Rockford’s 7-6 overtime loss to the Rivermen. Smith leads the IceHogs with four power-play goals on the season.
