Comcast SportsNet, the television home for the most games and most comprehensive coverage of the 2010 Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks, will provide viewers with a second chance to watch this past Saturday night’s historic 2010 Stanley Cup championship banner raising ceremony as the network will re-air the big event tomorrow night (Wednesday, October 13) at 11:00 PM.
The half-hour program replay, which took place at the United Center on Saturday, October 9 prior to the Blackhawks 2010-11 regular season home opener vs. Detroit , was emceed by Comcast SportsNet’s Blackhawks game analyst Eddie Olczyk and featured a speech from Blackhawks chairman Rocky Wirtz, along with an appearance from members of the 1961 Blackhawks Stanley Cup championship team, which included Stan Mikita and Bobby Hull.
Comcast SportsNet’s next Blackhawks game telecast takes place earlier the same evening on Wed, Oct. 13 at 7:30 PM when they host the division rival Nashville Predators (coverage begins at 7:00 PM on Chevy Blackhawks Pre-Game Live).
Immediately following the game (approx. 9:45 PM), viewers can look forward to Jose Cuervo Blackhawks Post Game Live featuring live coverage of Blackhawks head coach Joel Quenneville’s post-game press conference (also to be streamed live on CSNChicago.com) and locker room interviews with Blackhawks players. SportsNet Central presented by DEX airs at 10:00 & 10:30 PM featuring a complete recap of the day in sports and Comcast SportsNet will also replay the half-hour special Stanley’s Summer Vacation featuring video highlights of this past summer’s amazing journey of the Stanley Cup at 11:30 PM.
