Bolland And Hawks Team Up With Dominick's For Annual Book Drive

Event Information: Blackhawks center Dave Bolland will make a special appearance to sign autographs at Dominick’s as part of the Chicago Blackhawks Charities’ Second Annual Book Drive to benefit Chicago Public Schools. Fans that donate a new or gently used book at the appearance to help promote the book drive will receive an autograph from Bolland, who has posted three points (G, 2A) in six games this season. The book drive takes place at participating Dominick’s during the month of October.

Bolland, 23, has registered 67 points (24G, 43A) and 84 penalty minutes in 127 career regular-season tilts over parts of four seasons (2006-09) with the Blackhawks. Last season, the Mimico, Ontario, native appeared in 81 of Chicago’s 82 regular-season games, ranking sixth on the club with a career-high 19 goals, seventh with a career-best 47 points and ninth with a career-most 28 assists. He also tied for third on the team with eight assists and fourth with 12 points in 17 tilts during his Stanley Cup Playoff debut during the squad’s run to the Western Conference Final.
