Blackhawks To Honor Veterans

The Chicago Blackhawks and their fans will do their part to say, "Thank you for a job well done" to the current and former members of the United States Military as part of the Fri., Nov. 10 game against the St. Louis Blues at the United Center.

Current and former members of the U.S. military are invited to attend the Nov. 10 game as guests of the Chicago Blackhawks. A complimentary ticket can be obtained by any current or former member of the U.S. military presenting military identification. Complimentary tickets are subject to availability and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Over 1000 current and former members of the United States Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines and Navy are expected to attend, including groups from American Legion Post 1941 in LaGrange and the North Chicago Veterans' Administration Hospital.

A military color guard from Great Lakes Naval Station will participate in pre-game ceremonies and there will be a special video tribute to Veterans presented during the course of the game.
