Blackhawks Recall Corazzini, Assign Blunden

Corazzini has appeared in 16 games for Norfolk scoring 12 goals and adding 7 assists for 19 points. Four of his goals have been on the power play and two have been shorthanded. Corazzini was signed by the Blackhawks as a free agent on July 17, 2006. While he has never appeared in a game for the Blackhawks, Corazzini has played in 12 career NHL games for the Boston Bruins in the 2003-04 season scoring 2 goals. Corazzini, 27, was originally signed as a free agent by the Boston Bruins on August 8, 2001 out of Boston University where he was a 2nd team All-American in 2001. Blunden, 19, began the season with Norfolk and was recalled by the Blackhawks on October 22nd. In 9 games with the Blackhawks, Blunden had 10 minutes in penalties. |
