The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have agreed to terms with forward Kyle Beach
on a one-year contract.
Beach, 23, registered 26 points (16G, 10A) in 66 regular-season games with the American Hockey League’s Rockford IceHogs in 2012-13 and paced the club with a career-high 204 penalty minutes. The North Vancouver, British Columbia, native has tallied 72 points (37G, 35A) in 162 career games with the IceHogs from 2008 to 2013. He has recorded three goals in five career Calder Cup Playoff games.
Beach was originally selected by Chicago in the first round, 11th overall, of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
