Five minutes later, the Hershey lead doubled, as Bourque netted his second goal of the game at 15:06.

However, the third period belonged to Norfolk. Just eight seconds into the final frame, Carl Corazzini drew the Admirals to within one goal of the lead with a power play goal. Dustin Byfuglien netted the game-winning tally on the power play three minutes later to complete the dramatic comeback. His goal at 10:17 gave Norfolk a 4-3 lead. Admirals goaltender Corey Crawford made ten third period saves to seal the deal.
