Charlotte Grahame has been a member of the Avalanche front office since the team's very first day in Denver and is in her 22st year with the organization.
Overall, this season marks Grahame's 28th year with Kroenke Sports, formerly known as Ascent Entertainment and Comsat.
The Grahames have been described as the "first hockey family in Denver." Charlotte's husband, Ron, is a former NHL goaltender who currently serves as the Associate Vice Chancellor for Sport Supervision and Internal Operations at the University of Denver. Their son, John, played eight seasons as a goaltender in the NHL and represented Team USA at numerous international competitions, including the 2006 Olympics in Italy.
When John had his name etched on the Stanley Cup with Tampa Bay in 2004, he and Charlotte became the first mother-son combination to have their names on Lord Stanley's Cup. Charlotte's youngest son, Jason, played collegiate hockey at the University of Denver.
