Colorado Avalanche Learn To Skate

by Staff Writer / Colorado Avalanche
The Colorado Avalanche is proud to announce an Avalanche Learn to Skate session in conjunction with USA Hockey's Hockey Weekend Across America.  Avalanche Learn to Skate is a free learn to play hockey program designed to provide children with an exciting introduction to the sport of hockey, and serves as part of the Avalanche's commitment to the development of the sport in Colorado.

Colorado Avalanche Learn to Skate provides beginner players the opportunity to learn the basic skills of hockey through practice sessions at ice and roller hockey rinks throughout Colorado.  Each session will encourage participants to actively participate in exciting drills geared towards development of basic hockey skills.

The next session for the Avalanche Learn to Skate takes place on Saturday, February 19, 2011 from 1:00-3:00 PM at Rocky Mountain Roller Hockey (RMR) in Lakewood.  Certified instructors from the Rocky Mountain Roller Hockey program will be on hand for instruction in all phases.
