We’ve offered up three choices, and now it's your turn to choose the top play by voting on the poll below or on the homepage of ColoradoAvalanche.com. At the end of the season, a bracket-style tournament will be held to determine – once again, through fan voting – the Avalanche’s “Play of the Year”.
Check out this week’s three nominees, and be sure to vote for your favorite by Monday at 12:00 p.m. MT.
Hannan Nets #1 – 3/22 @ San Jose Defenseman Scott Hannan scored his first goal of the season against his former club, the San Jose Sharks. Hannan joined an Avalanche rush and took a feed from Wojtek Wolski before beating San Jose netminder Evgeni Nabokov.
Hejduk Snaps It In – 3/25 vs. Anaheim With the Avalanche on a power play, Milan Hejduk deposited a shot past Anaheim netminder Jonas Hiller from the top of the left faceoff circle. The goal was Hejduk’s 26th of the season, tying him with Ryan Smyth for the team lead.
McLeod’s Quick Stick - 3/25 vs. Anaheim Center T.J. Hensick helped to create this play, buying some time and space with his puck-handling before throwing the puck toward the Anaheim goal. Cody McLeod took care of the rest, getting his stick on Hensick’s pass and tipping it past Jonas Hiller for his 15th goal of the year.
