Play of the Year Finals: #1 Kyle Cumiskey vs. #10 Matt Hendricks
Cumiskey's tally was the top-rated play in the competition and has cruised to a spot in the finals. Meanwhile, Hendricks' shootout tally won a few early matchups handily before upsetting a Matt Duchene shootout goal in the semifinals.

Cumiskey Quick In OT – 2/10 vs. Atlanta (66.54% in Week 19)
Kyle Cumiskey scored the game-winning goal just nine seconds into overtime against Atlanta. After Paul Stastny won the opening faceoff in the extra session, Cumiskey skated up-ice, weaving through all four Atlanta defenders before making a quick move to beat Thrashers goaltender Johan Hedberg and give Colorado a 4-3 victory.

Hendricks Ends Marathon – 1/9 @ Buffalo (50.43% in Week 15)
Matt Hendricks dug deep into his bag of tricks, bringing out an old move he used back in high school to help the Avs top the Sabres in a shootout. As the tiebreaker stretched to an 11th round, Hendricks made a big shot fake – complete with a leg kick – to get Buffalo netminder Patrick Lalime down on his pads. From there, the forward went to his backhand to put home the shootout winner.
