Stewart Scores First Of Season – 10/7 vs. Chicago

Forward Chris Stewart netted the Avalanche’s first goal of the 2010-11 campaign in fashion. Wilson Lays Out Zherdev – 10/11 vs. Philadelphia
Defenseman Ryan Wilson gained a reputation for delivering big hits during his rookie campaign. It only took him two games to give out his first crushing blow of the 2010-11 season. As Flyers forward Nikolay Zherdev skated up the left wing out of his defensive zone, Wilson lined him up for a huge body check.

Jones’ Spinning Backhand – 10/12 @ Detroit
David Jones scored his second goal of the game on this creative move. Matt Duchene carried the puck into the offensive zone and dropped a pass to Brandon Yip at the right point.
