Budaj’s Save on Fiddler - 11/8 vs. Nashville Skating up the left wing, Vernon Fiddler faked a slap shot and waited for Peter Budaj to drop down before moving around the Avs netminder to attempt a wrister. However, Budaj was able to make the stop by extending his right leg.
Budaj Robs H. Sedin - 11/12 at Vancouver The Sedin twins teamed up in an attempt to foil Budaj, but the goaltender was up to the task. Daniel made a feed to an open Henrik, who was stationed to Budaj’s left with a seemingly open net. Budaj quickly moved side-to-side and robbed the Canucks of a goal by getting a glove on Henrik’s attempt.
Svatos’ Shootout Winner - 11/12 at Vancouver After his third-period goal extended the contest, Svatos effectively put an end to the game with his shootout tally. The forward went straight at Roberto Luongo and wristed a shot that caromed off the crossbar before heading into the net.
