Mueller Short Side – 3/22 @ Los Angeles
Peter Mueller scored this “goal-scorer’s goal” following a quick breakout from the Avalanche’s defensive end. Milan Hejduk centered the puck to Mueller, who skated in on a 2-on-1 with Matt Duchene. Mueller elected to take the shot and beat Los Angeles goalie Jonathan Quick short side.

Galiardi Gets Another – 3/22 @ Los Angeles
T.J. Galiardi is quickly gaining a reputation for scoring clutch goals during his first full NHL season. In this instance, the rookie helped the Avs gain a critical point by scoring with 10 seconds remaining in regulation. After Paul Stastny put a brilliant move on Kings defenseman Rob Scuderi and threw a shot on goal, Galiardi swooped in and cleaned up the rebound to tie the game, 3-3.

Hejduk Moves Up – 3/24 vs. Los Angeles
Veteran Milan Hejduk gave the Avalanche a 2-1 lead over the Kings after one-timing a feed from Peter Mueller on the power play. The tally was also significant in that it was Hejduk’s 121st career power-play goal, breaking a tie with Peter Stastny for the third-highest total in franchise history.
