by - Official Site of the Colorado Avalanche / Colorado Avalanche
Cast your vote to help decide the Avalanche's "Play of the Week" for the March 12-18 time period.

Plays by Craig Anderson, Peter Mueller and T.J. Galiardi are this week's nominees.

Voting ends on Monday, March 22 at 3:00 p.m. MT, so be sure to cast your ballot today!

Anderson’s Late Stand – 3/14 @ Dallas
With Colorado up on Dallas by a 5-3 score late in the game and the Stars on a power play, Craig Anderson came up with a succession of stops – including a defiant glove save at the end – to help preserve the Avalanche victory.

Mueller’s Rocket – 3/16 @ St. Louis
One reason the Avalanche acquired Peter Mueller was because he could provide a big right-handed point shot for the club’s power-play unit. This play was a perfect example, as Mueller teed up a John-Michael Liles pass and fired a shot by St. Louis goaltender Chris Mason for his seventh goal of the season.

Galiardi’s Fancy Feed – 3/16 @ St. Louis
The Avs and Blues were tied, 2-2, in the second period when T.J. Galiardi set up Paul Stastny to give Colorado the lead. The rookie picked up a loose puck in the high slot and held onto it for a second to draw in the defense. Instead of taking the shot himself, Galiardi slide a pass through traffic to Stastny for the goal.
