Altitude Sports & Entertainment announced today that KKFN broadcaster Marc Moser will join the 2007-08 Colorado Avalanche radio broadcasts and KKFN’s Sandy Clough will appear as a Studio Analyst for select television games this season. Moser will be leaving his position with AM 950 The Fan as co-host of their 6 a.m.-10 a.m. morning show, “The Sports Guys” to serve as the color commentator for the Avalanche on Altitude’s Radio Network. Sandy Clough will remain with KKFN and will rotate with Brian Engblom as a Studio Analyst for the Altitude television broadcasts, beginning October 4 with the Avalanche at Nashville Predators (6:00 p.m. start).
Brian Engblom has served as an Analyst for ABC Sports, ESPN, ESPN2, and Los Angeles radio station XTRA-Radio, has been the voice of the Columbus Blue Jackets and continues as an Analyst on the Versus Network for select NHL games. Newcomer Peter Ruttgaizer will join established Altitude personality Kyle Keefe in a rotation as Studio Host and Sideline Reporter for Avalanche television games this year. Ruttgaizer joins Altitude with many years of experience in various Canadian markets, including work for the CBC and most recently, EastLink TV. Mike Haynes will continue to call Play by Play and Peter McNab will be back to do Color Commentary this season.
Mark Bertagnoli will stay on as the Studio Host for the Avalanche radio broadcasts and Norm Jones will be calling Play by Play alongside Marc Moser.
Altitude’s Colorado Avalanche broadcasts can be heard on 15 affiliate radio stations throughout its 10-state region. The list of broadcasters includes KKFN 950 AM in Denver, KVOR 740 AM in Colorado Springs, KTMM 1340 AM in Grand Junction, as well as stations throughout Colorado, Nebraska, South Dakota, and Wyoming.
