Traded to Boston by NY Rangers for cash , December 28, 1935. Walter Jackson loaned to London (IHL) as compensation for breaking Getliffe loan agreement, December 31, 1935. Traded to Montreal by Boston with Charlie Sands for Herb Cain, October 10, 1939. Traded to Detroit by Montreal with Roly Rossignol for Billy Reay, September 11, 1945. Detroit received Fern Gauthier as compensation when Getliffe decided to retire, October 18, 1945.

I've been getting frustrated lately, and the only thing keeping me sane was the team winning and other people stepping up and scoring. Then you just kind of let it go and realize you can end the series with one shot, that frustration goes away for a brief moment, and that's what happened.
