Traded to Montreal by Boston with Charlie Sands for Herb Cain, October 10, 1939. Traded to Detroit by Montreal with Roly Rossignol for Billy Reay, September 11, 1945. Detroit received Fern Gauthier as compensation when Getliffe decided to retire, October 18, 1945.
