PERRY POWERS DUCKS' RALLY IN GAME 1

Corey Perry tallied 2-2—4, including the tying and winning goals in the third period, to help the Anaheim Ducks defeat the Winnipeg Jets 4-2 and grab a 1-0 series lead.

* In 2014-15, the Ducks set a single-season NHL record with 18 victories when trailing at any point of the third period. They also matched a League record with 12 wins when trailing after two periods.

* Perry had his first career four-point game in the postseason. The only other Ducks with at least four points in a postseason game are Joffrey Lupul (May 9, 2006: 4-0—4 at COL, 4-3 OT W) and Andy McDonald (April 25, 2007: 3-1—4 vs. VAN, 5-1 W).

* Perry had four points on Jan. 15 vs. VAN (2-2—4 in 9-1 W). The most points he has had in the regular season is five, last accomplished Dec. 12, 2010 vs. MIN (3-2—5).

* Ryan Getzlaf (1-2—3) tied a career-high in the postseason with three points. Getzlaf (26-51—77) is the Ducks all-time playoff scoring leader, ahead of Teemu Selanne (35-34—69) and Perry (24-36—60).

* Sami Vatanen (1-2—3) had his first career three-point game in the postseason. Frederik Andersen made 25 saves to earn his fourth career playoff victory (8 GP).

* The Ducks improved to 12-10 in the opening game of a playoff series, including an 8-5 record at home.

MRAZEK LEADS DETROIT PAST TAMPA BAY IN PLAYOFF DEBUT

Making his playoff debut, Petr Mrazek made 44 saves, including 35 over the final two periods, to lead the Detroit Red Wings to a 3-2 win against the Tampa Bay Lightning and a 1-0 series lead.

* Mrazek, Detroit's fifth-round pick (No. 141) in the 2010 NHL Draft, became the fifth goaltender in Red Wings history to win his postseason debut, following Johnny Mowers (1941), Glenn Hall (1956), Bob Champoux (1964) and Chris Osgood (1994).

* His 44 saves were a career-high and the most by a rookie goaltender in a regulation game in his first playoff appearance since April 8, 1980 (Jiri Crha: 55 SV w/ TOR in 6-3 L at MIN). Mrazek set his previous career-high for saves in one game on March 15 at PIT (42 SV, 5-1 W).

* Pavel Datsyuk had his sixth career multigoal game in the playoffs. His last such performance was April 27, 2010 when he also posted 2-0—2 in Game 7 of their first-round series vs. PHX (6-1 W).

* Datsyuk scored his second goal eight seconds into the second period. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the goal was the fastest goal to start a period in the postseason in franchise history. Gordie Howe set the previous franchise-best when he scored nine seconds into the first period on April 1, 1954 (0:09 of first period vs. TOR).

* The Red Wings earned the regulation win despite being outshot by the Lightning 46-14. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, the minus-32 shot differential was the largest negative shot differential in a regulation win in the postseason for Detroit in the past 50 years. The last NHL team to win a regulation playoff game when being outshot by 32 or more was Montreal on April 26, 2010 (outshot 54-22, 4-1 W vs. WSH).

* Luke Glendening scored his first career shorthanded goal in the playoffs after making a spin-o-rama move to his backhand. The goal stood as his first career playoff game-winning goal.

RANGERS EARN FOURTH STRAIGHT PLAYOFF WIN AGAINST PENGUINS

Derick Brassard scored 28 seconds after the opening faceoff and Henrik Lundqvist made 24 saves, including 19 over the final two periods, to help the New York Rangers defeat the Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1 and open a 1-0 series lead.

* The Rangers have won four consecutive playoff games against the Penguins dating to Game 5 of their Eastern Conference Second Round matchup in 2014. Overall, they improved to 7-0-1 in their past eight head-to-head games.

* Brassard's goal was the second-fastest goal to start a playoff game in Rangers history. Ed Hospodar set the mark on April 9, 1981 with his goal at 27 seconds of the first period in Game 2 of the Preliminary Round vs. LAK (5-4 L).

* Brassard had 4-1—5 in New York's seven-game series vs. PIT in the 2014 postseason, including the game-winning goal in Game 1 (in OT) and Game 5. He has 16 points in 14 career regular-season games against the Penguins (5-11—16), including 4-5—9 on an active eight-game point streak.

* Lundqvist has been in net for every game during the Rangers current eight-game overall point streak against the Penguins.

* Lundqvist won his 44th career postseason game, third among active goaltenders behind Marc-Andre Fleury (52) and Jonathan Quick (45). Lundqvist also appeared in his 93rd career playoff game and tied Walt Tkaczuk for the most playoff appearances in franchise history (skaters and goaltenders included).

* Ryan McDonagh scored his first career game-winning goal in the postseason, via the power play at 15:16 of the first period. Three of his six career playoff goals have come with the man advantage.

* The Rangers improved to 18-6 all-time at home in Game 1 of best-of-7 series. They have won 12 of the previous 17 series when taking a 1-0 lead.

GRANLUND SCORES LATE GAME-WINNER TO LIFT WILD

Ahead by a goal with less than two minutes remaining in regulation, the Minnesota Wild scored two empty-net goals including the eventual game-winner by Mikael Granlund to defeat the St. Louis Blues 4-2 and take a 1-0 lead in their series.

* Minnesota earned its second all-time win in a Game 1 and snapped a seven-game skid in the first game of a series. The Wild's first such victory came in the franchise's first-ever playoff game on April 10, 2003 vs. COL (4-2 W).

* Granlund scored his second career postseason game-winning goal. Jason Pominville (1-1—2) and Jason Zucker also scored for the Wild.

* Matt Dumba scored his first career postseason goal on a power play. Dumba, 20, was Minnesota's first-round pick (No. 7) in the 2012 NHL Draft.

* Devan Dubnyk made 19 saves to become the first goaltender in franchise history to earn a victory in his playoff debut. Dubnyk has a 3-1-0 record against the Blues since joining the Wild in January; prior to that, he held a 0-7-0 record against them.

Elias says road teams that win Game 1 in a best-of-7 Stanley Cup Playoffs series hold an all-time series record of 123-96 (56.2 percent). … Pittsburgh forward Blake Comeau scored his first career playoff goal/point (7 GP). … The Penguins started a series on the road for the first time since the 2009 Stanley Cup Final against the Red Wings (4-3 series win). … Detroit forward Darren Helm (0-2—2) had his first career multipoint game in the postseason. … Tampa Bay forward Brian Boyle scored his second career shorthanded goal in the postseason. His other such tally came in his last playoff outing, Game 5 of 2014 Stanley Cup Final with the Rangers.
