Signed as a free agent by Ingolstadt (Germany), September 17, 2004. Traded to St. Louis by Anaheim for Doug Weight, Michal Birner and St. Louis' 7th round pick (later traded to Los Angeles, later traded back to St. Louis - St. Louis selected Paul Karpowich) in 2008 NHL Draft, December 14, 2007. Missed majority of 2011-12 due to head injury at Dallas, October 13, 2011. Officially announced his retirement, June 6, 2013.
