RANGERS NOTES
ROAD RANGERS – The Rangers earned their sixth-straight road win, improving to 9-1-1 on the road this season, recording a winning streak of six or more road games for the first time since 2019-20 (9-0-0).
POINTS SECURE – The Rangers have earned points in 10 of their 11 road games thus far this season and overall, have points in 12 of their 19 contests.
RANGERS INTO SHOOTOUT – The Rangers earned their first shootout victory of the season with shootout goals by Vincent Trocheck and J.T. Miller.
UNBREAKABLE BLUELINE – The Rangers have allowed one or fewer goals in a game for the seventh time this season, the second most in the NHL. They are one of four teams in the league to have allowed one or fewer goals in seven or more games this season.
Mika Zibanejad opened the scoring for the Blueshirts with his third power play goal of the season, marking his 600th point and 256th goal as a Ranger. His 256 goals with New York are tied with Camille Henry for the seventh most goals in franchise history. Zibanejad’s power play goal was his 123rd of his career, surpassing Tomas Holmstrom (122) for the sixth most power-play goals by a Swedish player in NHL history.
J.T. Miller notched his first game-winning shootout goal of the season and his sixth game deciding goal of his career. He improved his career shootout stats to 13-for-35 (37.1%).
Artemi Panarin notched an assist on Mika Zibanejad’s power play goal, improving his point streak to three games and has collected 10 points through his last five games.
Adam Fox tallied his fifth assist through his last three games and his 13th of the season. His 13 assists rank first on the Rangers and are tied for the fifth most among all NHL blueliners.
