Packet Pick-up

Packet pick-up will be available the morning of the race, Saturday, November 19th from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM. This is the ONLY way in which registrants may pick-up their race day packet. Race volunteers will be able to direct you to the Packet Pick-Up tent.

Race Details

All runners and walkers are welcome! The route follows a 3.1 mile (5K) course with varying terrain around Rye Playland and Rye Town Park. The race will start and finish in the northwestern section of Rye Playland parking lot. Route surfaces vary from pavement, to grass, to the boardwalk that rests along the scenic shores of the Long Island Sound!

  • Two water stations will be available to runners along the course
  • There will be a free bag check available but please limit the amount of personal items you bring - One bag checked per person
  • If you are travelling by car, please leave all personal items that will not be needed for the race in your vehicle.
  • With the exception of Service animals, there are no pets permitted at the event
  • Strollers are permitted in the spectator areas but are not permitted on the race course
  • The event will take place rain or shine

  • Directions by Car
    • From New York:
      • Bronx: Take the Bronx River Parkway North to the Cross County Parkway East to the Hutchinson River Parkway North to Mamaroneck Avenue Exit 23 S. Stay on this for one mile and take I-95 North to Playland Parkway, Exit 19.
      • Brooklyn: Take the Triborough Bridge North to the Cross Bronx Expressway East to I-95 North to Playland Parkway, Exit 19.
      • Queens: Take the Cross Island Parkway North to the Throgs Neck Bridge to I-95 North to Playland Parkway, Exit 19.
      • Manhattan: Take the Westside Highway North to the Cross Bronx Expressway East to I-95 North to Playland Parkway, Exit 19.
    • New Jersey:
      • Take the George Washington Bridge to the Cross Bronx Expressway East to I-95 North to Playland Parkway, Exit 19 - or - Take the Tappan Zee Bridge East to the Cross Westchester Expressway (287 East) to I-95 South to Playland Parkway, Exit 19.
    • Connecticut:
      • Take I-95 South to Playland Parkway, Exit 19 or Take the Merritt Parkway to the Cross Westchester Expressway (287 East) to I-95 South to Playland Parkway, Exit 19.
  • Directions by Train from Grand Central Terminal
    • Metro North New Haven Line (Approximately 47 min travel time) - shuttle buses will be provided from and to Rye train station

  • Restrooms will be available on-site for registrants and guests
  • Snacks and water will be available for registrants
  • All event parking will take place in the Rye Playland parking lot. Parking for the race is complimentary

The standard no refunds, no deferrals, and no transfers policy applies


A portion of all net proceeds will benefit the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a nonprofit organization that is exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code. A portion of all net proceeds will also benefit the Northwell Health Foundation, a tax exempt organization under section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code, a philanthropic organization "dedicated to and supported by the communities we serve."
