Apply NowThe New York Rangers Youth Hockey Camp is a drop-off/pick up camp which operates Monday - Friday from 8AM - 5PM at each scheduled location. Our daily schedule includes:
Each day consists of 2 on-ice sessions per day for all players for a total of 15 hours per week. Sessions are designed in partnership with USA Hockey to help increase the number of touches on the puck and promote greater skill development. All practices will progress throughout each week from skating skills to a heavier focus on puck skills and drills.
Players will be challenged daily off the ice to help develop individual stick skills, shooting techniques and more.
To help players take their mind off of the game while still developing necessary motor skills that will help them on the ice, instructors will lead players through a number of different sports throughout the week including spikeball, whiffle ball, and soccer!
Age-appropriate training throughout the week will help players with their agility, balance, coordination and speed. These off-ice sessions will follow the American Development Model for all of our respective age groups. More information on ADM can be found by clicking here.
All groups will be taken through a host of different interactive topics each week reviewing on-ice and off-ice lessons as well as nutritional topics.
Families should bring their own lunch or food can be purchased at the facility.
Our Junior Rangers Youth Hockey Development Staff is focused on delivering the best camp experience for your child. By maintaining a 6:1 camper to instructor ratio we ensure all players are challenged and growing regardless of age and ability.
