The Official Site of the LA Kings

While we look forward to seeing you at STAPLES Center whenever that is eventually deemed possible, our primary focus remains on the health and safety of our entire LA Kings family.

We are committed to providing you with flexibility regarding your 2020-21 Season Ticket Membership and are proud to introduce our Membership Protection Plan (MPP). The MPP provides you the ability to transfer your paid 2019-20 balance to the 2020-21 NHL Season along with a 10% bonus credit, as well as two flexible payment plans to choose from.

Membership Protection Plan Options

Option 1:
Bonus Protection

  • Transfer 2019-20 NHL Season paid balance plus 10% bonus credit toward 2020-21 NHL Season
  • Continue payments as scheduled through February - your scheduled payments will be adjusted (reduced) to account for 2019-20 NHL Season credit starting June 20, 2020
  • If at any time the 2020-21 NHL Season is shortened or played in front of no fans, secure a bonus 5% credit on affected games that will be transferred toward your 2020-21 NHL Playoffs or 2021-22 NHL Season Renewal
Select Option 1

Option 2:
Renew Now, Pay Later

  • Transfer 2019-20 NHL Season paid balance plus 10% bonus credit toward 2020-21 NHL Season
  • Your 2019-20 NHL Season credit will be applied in May - complete a June payment of 10% of your 2020-21 invoice total, then defer future payment to October 2020 through February 2021 for the remainder of the 2020-21 NHL Season
  • If at any time the 2020-21 NHL Season is shortened or played in front of no fans, we'll adjust your payment plan to reflect only the regularly ticketed games
Select Option 2

Option 3: Refund

Elect to receive a refund of your 2019-20 NHL Season paid balance

Frequently Asked Questions

Your credit will be applied May 20, 2020 when you let us know your selection by May 18, 2020. If you let us know after May 18, 2020, we'll apply the credit as soon as we can upon request.

Both Membership Protection Plan options allow you to rollover any credits on your account from the unplayed 2019-20 NHL Season plus an additional 10% on these funds. Option 1 (Bonus Protection) provides you with an additional 5% that may be applied to the 2020-21 NHL Playoffs or the 2021-22 NHL Season renewal for any games that are interrupted. Option 2 (Renew Now, Pay Later) gives you a payment deferral and allows us to adjust your payments based on the schedule released by the NHL. Option 2 doesn't provide a future credit since you wouldn't be paying if the game doesn't occur.

If you select Membership Protection Plan Option 1 or elect a refund, your scheduled payment dates will not be adjusted. If you select Membership Protection Plan Option 2, your next payment of 10% of your 2020-21 NHL Season account total will be on June 20th, then the remaining five payments will be October 2020 through February 2021 on the 20th of each month.

No. We want to provide you flexibility and certainty right now, but this does not mean the NHL has cancelled the rest of the 2019-20 NHL Season.

Should the 2019-20 NHL Season resume with games played in front of a regular capacity crowd at STAPLES Center, the LA Kings will provide complimentary tickets to all Season Ticket Members who have renewed for the 2020-21 season and selected a Membership Protection Plan option. Season Ticket Members who elect a refund will have the ability to purchase these tickets.

No. There is obviously a level of uncertainty with all the factors in this decision from the NHL, State of California, City of LA, and more. There are multiple scenarios that could lead to a variety of outcomes, so we want to provide you the protection that regardless of the result, you have safe and flexible options.

Should games be played in front of a limited or reduced capacity crowd, further information will be provided as it relates to ticket access. Season Ticket Members will always receive priority access.

The 10% bonus credit is based on the amount of paid funds on account for all tickets and parking to the seven currently postponed games of the 2019-20 NHL Season (March 14th vs ANA through April 4 vs DAL). For example, if you have $1,000 as a paid balance you will receive your $1,000 plus $100 in bonus credit for a total of $1,100 that will be applied to your 2020-21 NHL Season when you select either Membership Protection Plan option.

If you select Option 1, you will receive an additional 5% bonus credit toward the 2021 NHL Playoffs or 2021-22 NHL Season if there are less than 44 games or any of these games are played in front of reduced capacity crowds. For example, if five games are affected and you have $500 paid you will receive your $500 plus $25 in bonus credit for a total of $525 that will be applied to your 2021 NHL Playoffs or 2021-22 NHL Season invoice.

Yes. Please contact your Membership Service Executive with your specific request and we can work to provide flexible options.

Yes, if you prefer to receive a refund of your paid 2019-20 balance, you can do so by completing the form. By electing a refund, you will forfeit the additional MPP benefits and bonus credit.

We will process refund requests as quick as possible. While we are currently operating in a work from home environment, we ask for your understanding that this process may take longer than usual.

If you have resold any of your tickets for these seven currently postponed games through AXS, you will receive additional information direct from our Membership Service team. If you have resold these tickets through another secondary site, please contact that point of sale for further resolution.
