Meet Alex Iafallo: LA Kings Top Line Rookie

Get to know the LA Kings 23-year-old rookie from Eden, New York

How does a 23-year-old, undrafted, college graduate end up in the NHL on a line with two two-time Stanley Cup Champs/All-Stars/Olympians? Getting to know Alex Iafallo, the LA Kings' rookie centerman, will probably provide a pretty good answer.

On April 18, just a month before completing his senior season of NCAA hockey, Iafallo was signed by the Kings as an unrestricted free agent. He graduated from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Management.

Come October, Iafallo, who not only managed to earn a spot on the Kings' opening night roster, but found himself on the top line alongside iconic Kings wingers Anze Kopitar and Dustin Brown.

LA Kings Recall Forward Jonny Brodzinski From Ontario Reign

The 24-year-old forward has registered nine points this season with the Ontario Reign

The LA Kings have recalled forward Jonny Brodzinski from the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League, Kings Vice President and General Manager Rob Blake announced today. Forward Michael Amadio has been assigned to Ontario.

The 24-year-old Brodzinski (born June 19, 1993) is a 6-1, 217-pound native of Ham Lake, Minn., who went scoreless in three games earlier this season with the Kings.

He has registered nine points (4-5=9), a plus-3 rating and four penalty minutes in eight games with the Reign. At the time of his recall he ranked tied for first in goals, second in points and third in assists among Ontario players.

Jokinen, 34 (born April 1, 1983), has played in 14 games with the Oilers this year, recording one point (0-1=1) and two penalty minutes.

The 25-year-old forward has appeared in 11 games this season for Ontario, recording three points and 13 penalty minutes

The LA Kings have recalled forward Andrew Crescenzi from the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League, Kings Vice President and General Manager Rob Blake announced today.

The 25-year-old Crescenzi (born May 14, 1994) is a 6-5, 207-pound native of Thornhill, Ontario who has appeared in 11 games this season for the Reign, recording three points (2-1=3) and 13 penalty minutes.

He has yet to appear in an NHL game.
