LA Kings Green is the LA Kings dedicated sustainability program designed to reduce our environmental footprint and help create a greener Los Angeles. Through LA Kings Green, we are minimizing the environmental impact of our games and practices, supporting local environmental projects, and creating opportunities for our fans and partners to help build healthier, more sustainable communities.
The LA Kings has one of the largest and most committed fan base in the NHL. We aim to provide positive and actionable information, so our fans can take lessons learned during their time at STAPLES Center home with them.
Kings Care Foundation was created in 1996 with the help of players, alumni, and staff. The organization is committed to creating opportunities, raising funds, and driving awareness for education, recreation, health, animal welfare and sustainability-related causes.
Below are examples of partnerships and service events during the 2016-17 LA Kings season.
Environmental issues directly impact the future of our sport, one that is often learned outside atop frozen ponds. That's why our organization strives toward improving the sustainable practices of our team and arena.
