The New York Islanders have partnered with the Smithtown based Guide Dog Foundation to raise three puppies to place a dog into the training process to become a future guide dog.

The Islanders celebrated hockey moms and dads on Long Island, gifting select hockey parents with Islanders tickets and prize packs. Fans have a chance to tell us why their hockey parents are the Ultimate Hockey Mom and the Ultimate Hockey Dad every spring.

The New York Islanders Community Assist Program - supported by Stop & Shop - aims to make a difference in the community through financial donations and volunteer opportunities.
