Since day one, the Vegas Golden Knights have been dedicated to the growth of hockey in Southern Nevada. Offering programs for all skills levels, we aim to foster a community spirit among our players, families, coaches and officials. We are committed to providing our players with an environment to develop into good teammates and community members on and off the ice.

Skating Academy presented by Atomic Golf

In our 8 week Skating Academy program, skaters ages 3 and up learn from certified professions following the Learn to Skate USA program, endorsed by US Figure Skating, USA Hockey and US Speedskating. Instructors work to create a fun environment by teaching a wide variety of actives and techniques.

Learn to Play

The NHL Learn to Play program provides a unique opportunity for first time players to join the hockey community in Las Vegas. In this program, students ages 5-9 will learn fundamental hockey skills to prepare for league play. Players in will be provided with a full set of equipment. The NHL Learn to Play program was created jointly by the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) and NHL.

Lil' Knights presented by The D Las Vegas

Lil' Knights is the first step a young player should take in learning to play hockey. In this program, players will learn basic skating, stickhandling, passing and shooting in an organized and challenging setting. Players will provide their own equipment. After graduating from Lil' Knights, players will be ready to enter league play.

Mites at Knight presented by AAA

Designed to highlight the Golden Knights involvement in youth hockey initiatives throughout Southern Nevada, Mites at Knight provides players in the Golden Knights 8U house league the once-in-a-lifetime chance to scrimmage during intermission at a Vegas Golden Knights home game.
