Hockey Programs

This annual tradition celebrates the State of Hockey in a different community every year.

Hockey Day Minnesota 2025 will be held at Valley Fair in Shakopee.

The Minnesota Wild, in conjunction with Red Baron and Minnesota Hockey, hosts the Annual Girls Hockey Weekend at Xcel Energy Center. Clinics will be conducted by Minnesota Hockey certified coaches for 6U, 8U, 10U, and 12U girls.

The Minnesota Wild is pleased promote Hockey is for Everyone, an initiative focused on promoting and creating a safe, positive and inclusive environment for all who cherish this great game.

The Minnesota Wild, in partnership with TRIA, NHL and NHLPA, are proud to present the Hockey is for Me program.

The Minnesota Wild, Minnesota Hockey, CCM, Pure Hockey, NHL, and NHLPA are pleased to announce that the 12^th Annual Little Wild Learn to Play program will return in the Fall of 2024. 

The Minnesota Wild, in partnership with Minnesota Hockey and Warrior, will host the 7th annual Mite Holiday Jamboree on December 28 and 29 at Xcel Energy Center in downtown, St. Paul. Boys and girls from across the state are invited to participate.

The Wes Walz Minnesota Wild Hockey School is dedicated to a productive week of hockey for boys and girls of all ages. Our goal is to create a program in which a player can be challenged to work on general hockey skills.

The Minnesota Wild's "Wild for a Day" program recognizes young hockey players that demonstrate commitment, hard work and passion for the game and their community both on and off the ice.

The Minnesota Wild Youth Hockey Spotlight Games, presented by US Bank, are a unique community initiative that travels across the state of Minnesota to give youth hockey players a once-in-a-lifetime NHL experience.

The Minnesota Wild, in partnership with Minnesota Hockey, the Minnesota Hockey Officials Association and USA Hockey, are pleased to host the First-Year Hockey Referee Seminar and Clinic at the Minnesota Wild Executive Offices.

The Minnesota Wild, in partnership with Minnesota Hockey and the Positive Coaching Alliance, will honor one male and one female youth hockey referee per month, October through March, as part of the Youth Hockey Referee Spotlight Program. Honorees will be selected by the Minnesota Hockey Officials Association (MHOA).

The Minnesota Wild, in partnership with the NHL, NHL Officials Association and the Minnesota Military Family Assistance Center, and presented by Hiway Credit Union, are pleased to welcome back the Zebras Care program.
