NJD 2, VAN 0: Devils extend their lead to 2-0. Nico Hischier ripped a one-timer from the slot past Lankinen on the power play.

NJD 3, VAN 0: Cody Glass redirects a point shot from Hameenaho to give the Devils a three-goal lead. The two goals were 40 seconds apart.

NJD 3, VAN 1: Linus Karlsson puts home a rebound in front to draw the Canucks within a pair.

NJD 3, VAN 2: Shorthanded, the Canucks score on a three-on-one. Teddy Blueger one-times it from the right circle. The goal came 2:12 after Vancouver's first marker.

NJD 4, VAN 2: With 18 seconds left in the double minor, Connor Brown fires it from the slot to put the Devils back up by two.

NJD 4, VAN 3: With 1:48 to go in the second, Zeev Buium pinches in to put home a rebound and make it a one-goal game once again.

NJD 5, VAN 4: After Devils were foiled on numerous empty-net goal chances, Vancouver scores with 1:12 left. Brock Boeser taps it in from the side of the net.
