Mobile Ticketing

On your Mobile device, navigate to the Monumental Sports Account Manager.

You may access your Monumental Sports Account Manager one of two ways on your smartphone:

  • Download the NHL app for your mobile device, through Google Play or the App Store.
  • Mark the Capitals as your favorite team and proceed through prompts.
  • Scroll to down to the middle of the home page, and click the "Account Manager powered by Ticketmaster" button.
  • Log into your Monumental Sports Account Manager using your email address and password.

*As soon as we are within 24 hours of the game, you will be able to click the "View" button and your tickets will pop up in QR code format. You can present these tickets/QR codes to any Verizon Center Attendant to scan at the gate.

If your account manager is not displaying properly on your mobile device, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click "Mobile Site" for the best experience.

  1. Log into your Monumental Sports Account Manager using your email address and password: www.washcaps.com/accountmanager
  2. Select "Manage My Tickets"
  3. Select the appropriate game
  4. Click on "Transfer Tickets"
  5. Select each ticket that you would like to transfer
  6. In the upper right corner, click "Transfer"
  7. In the pop up box, click "Continue to transfer"
  8. Enter your recipient's information and click "Add". Your recipient is now stored in your contacts as a line item and you can select the contact from Ticket Transfer. Then click "Next Step" at the bottom of the page
  9. Agree to the terms and click "Complete Transfer"
  10. On the confirmation page, click "Manage more tickets" to return to the calendar or "Home" to return to the home page

*You will receive an email confirming that you have successfully transferred your tickets.

  1. Select "Click Here to Accept Tickets" in the transfer offer email or log into your Monumental Sports Account Manager using your email address and password: www.washcaps.com/accountmanager
  2. Click the yellow "View Transfer Offer" box
  3. If you already have a Monumental Sports Account Manager, you may simply log in. If you do not have an account:
    • Click "Continue" next to "I don't have an account."
    • Enter your information and create a password
    • Agree to the Terms and Conditions, and click "Submit"
  4. Follow the prompts to complete the transfer, agree to the terms and conditions, and select the "Complete Transfer" button to claim your tickets
  5. On the confirmation page, click "Manage more tickets" to return to the calendar or "Home" to return to the home page

*Your two entry methods are logging into your account via your mobile device or by loading your tickets onto a card.

 

  1. Log into your Monumental Sports Account Manager using your email address and password: www.washcaps.com/accountmanager 
  2. Select "Manage My Tickets" 
  3. Select the appropriate game
  4. Click on "Sell on NHL Ticket Exchange"
  5. Select each seat that you want to sell
  6. In the upper right corner, click "Sell"
  7. You will be given the option to set your selling price, price controls, and expiration date
  8. Agree to the terms and click "Submit Listing"
  9. On the confirmation page, click "Manage more tickets" to return to the calendar or "Home" to return to the home page.

*Please note: the only way to access proceeds from sold tickets immediately is to select the direct deposit option. If the seller credit option is selected, funds will be held in your Washington Capitals account. These funds may be used for future ticket purchases through the Washington Capitals or applied to your season-ticket invoice for the following season. No refunds will be issued on seller credit to your team account.

  1. HOW DO I USE MY DIGITAL SEASON TICKET CARD?
    Use your Monumental Membership Pass just like you would a normal ticket. Present your card to the attendant when you arrive at Verizon Center and they will swipe it or scan the barcode on the back. You will receive a seat locator tab with detailed seat information for each location on your account. You can then enter the building as normal with your guests. Please note all seats for the event you are attending will print once the card is swiped or scanned.
  2. I HAVE PRINTED SEASON TICKET BOOKLETS -- CAN I STILL MANAGE MY TICKETS ONLINE?
    Yes! All of our Season Ticket Members have the ability to manage their tickets through Monumental Sports Account Manager. If you do choose to manage your tickets for an event, your original, printed ticket for that event will be deactivated.
  3. I HAVE CONCESSION CREDIT -- HOW DO I ACCESS IT?
    For full Season Ticket Members, your concession credit is pre-loaded onto your Monumental Membership Pass and is ready to use. If you have purchased a single-game or promotional ticket that includes concession credit, it will be loaded on the barcode of your printed ticket or seat locator tab. Simply present your ticket or seat locator tab at participating concession stands to access your credit.
  4. WHAT IF I WANT TO GIVE TICKETS TO FRIENDS/FAMILY/CLIENTS AHEAD OF TIME?
    Your guests will require their own ticket to enter Verizon Center. Prior to the game you can transfer their seats to them by logging onto your account at Monumental Sports Account Manager. The recipient will be able to store them on a credit card or use their mobile phone to access them.
  5. IS THERE A COST TO FORWARD A TICKET?
    No, it's free! Capitals full Season Ticket Members can transfer their season tickets free of charge using Monumental Sports Account Manager.
  6. WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSE MY CARD OR IT GETS STOLEN?
    If your Monumental Membership Pass is lost or gets stolen, please contact your Membership Services Manager immediately. Your card will be deactivated and will no longer be able to gain entry to Verizon Center. A replacement card will be re-issued for you to use the remainder of the season. 
  7. I SPLIT TICKETS WITH MY PARTNERS. HOW DOES IT WORK IF I ONLY HAVE ONE CARD FOR ALL OF MY SEATS?
    You will be provided one Monumental Membership Pass that is valid for all seat locations on your account for all teams. Use ticket transferring on Monumental Sports Account Manager to send your split partners their tickets. 
  8. WHAT IF I WANT TO SELL MY TICKET?
    You can list your ticket for sale through NHL Ticket Exchange. You can access NHL Ticket Exchange online via Monumental Sports Account Manager. Feel free to contact your Membership Services Manager with any questions regarding selling your tickets. 
  9. WHAT IF I HAVE A TICKET FOR A PREMIUM SEATING AREA?
    Our premium seating areas include our VIP seats, PwC Ledge seats, and other select VIP sections. If you have seats in any of these areas, your printed ticket or seat locator tab will indicate you have access to these areas. 
  10. CAN I ENTER THE VERIZON CENTER BY SHOWING MY TICKETS ON MY PHONE? 
    Yes! Mobile ticketing is available. You can access Monumental Sports Account Manager (www.washcaps.com/accountmanager) via the browser on your smartphone, through the NHL App, or Passbook with an Apple iPhone to view your tickets. Each mobile ticket will display with a Square QR code which can be scanned for entry into Verizon Center. 

 

  1. WHAT IF MY BROWSER TELLS ME THAT COOKIES ARE REQUIRED FOR MOBILE TICKETING?
    Once the webpage is open, press the button with the two small boxes in the bottom right hand corner of your screen, hit the two boxes. Then uncheck the "Private" button, and you will be able to access your tickets.
  2. CAN I ALSO ACCESS MY WIZARDS OR MYSTICS TICKETS ONLINE? 
    Yes, using Monumental Sports Account Manager you can access your tickets for all three teams in one convenient location. Monumental Sports Account Manager is your central location for all Monumental Sports tickets!
