Mobile Ticketing

On your Mobile device, navigate to the Monumental Sports Account Manager.

You may access your Monumental Sports Account Manager one of two ways on your smartphone:

  • Download the NHL app for your mobile device, through Google Play or the App Store.
  • Mark the Capitals as your favorite team and proceed through the prompts.
  • Scroll down to the middle of the home page and click the "Account Manager powered by Ticketmaster" button.
  • Log into your Monumental Sports Account Manager using your email address and password.

*As soon as we are within 24 hours of the game, you will be able to click the "View Barcode" button and your tickets will pop up in QR code format. You can present these tickets/QR codes to any Capital One Arena Attendant to scan at the gate.

  1. Log into your Monumental Sports Account Manager using your email address and password: am.ticketmaster.com/monumental
  2. Select the appropriate game
  3. Click on the "Send" button
  4. Choose the seats you want to transfer and click "Send"
  5. Enter your recipient's information and click "Send"

*You will receive an email confirming that you have successfully transferred your tickets.

 

  1. Click on the Accept Tickets link in the transfer offer email.
  2. Login to Monumental Sports Account Manager or Create an Account.
  3. Agree to the Terms and Conditions if necessary.
  4. Select the "Claim" button to accept your tickets
  5. Once accepted the tickets are automatically loaded in your own account. To enter Capital One Arena via your mobile device simply select the game you want to attend and select view barcode (View Barcode text and QR code will become visible within 24 hours of the event).

 

  1. Select the appropriate game.
  2. Select the "Sell" button.
  3. Choose the seats you want to sell.
  4. Fill in information to set your selling price, payment method and select confirm.

**Your tickets are now for sale on the Ticketmaster Ticket Exchange. And when someone buys them, you get automatic account credit or direct deposit into your bank account, worry free!

 

  1. I HAVE PRINTED SEASON TICKET BOOKLETS -- CAN I STILL MANAGE MY TICKETS ONLINE?
    Yes! All of our Season Ticket Members have the ability to manage their tickets through Monumental Sports Account Manager. If you do choose to manage your tickets for an event, your original, printed ticket for that event will be deactivated.
     
  2. I HAVE CONCESSION CREDIT -- HOW DO I ACCESS IT?
    For full Season Ticket Members, your concession credit is pre-loaded onto your Monumental Sports Account Manager and is ready to use. If you have purchased a single-game or promotional ticket that includes concession credit, it will be loaded on the barcode of your printed ticket or mobile QR code. Simply present your ticket or QR code at participating concession stands to access your credit.
     
  3. WHAT IF I WANT TO GIVE TICKETS TO FRIENDS/FAMILY/CLIENTS AHEAD OF TIME?
    Your guests will require their own ticket to enter Capital One Arena. You can forward their seats to them by logging onto your account at Monumental Sports Account Manager, and then the recipient will be able to use their mobile phone to access them.
     
  4. IS THERE A COST TO FORWARD A TICKET?
    No, it's free! Capitals full Season Ticket Members can transfer their season tickets free of charge using Monumental Sports Account Manager.
     
  5. I SPLIT TICKETS WITH MY PARTNERS. HOW DOES IT WORK?
    If you split tickets with someone you will need to use ticket forwarding on the NHL app or Monumental Sports Account Manager website to send your split partner their tickets.
     
  6. WHAT IF I WANT TO SELL MY TICKET?
    You can list your ticket for sale through Ticketmaster Ticket Exchange, the preferred resale outlet of the Washington Capitals. You can access Ticketmaster Ticket Exchange online via Monumental Sports Account Manager. 
     
  7. WHAT IF I HAVE A TICKET FOR A PREMIUM SEATING AREA?
    If you have VIP locations, your printed ticket or mobile QR code will indicate you have access to these areas. When you show your ticket or QR code to the usher, they will assist you to make sure get where you need to be.
     
  8. CAN I ENTER THE CAPITAL ONE ARENA BY SHOWING MY TICKETS ON MY PHONE? 
    Yes! Mobile ticketing is available. You can access Monumental Sports Account Manager (am.ticketmaster.com/monumental) via the browser on your smartphone, through the NHL App, or Passbook with an Apple iPhone to view your tickets. Each mobile ticket will display with a Square QR code which can be scanned for entry into Capital One Arena.
     
  9. WHAT IF I'M GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE WHEN LOGGING INTO MY ACCOUNT VIA MY MOBILE DEVICE?Make sure you have cookies enabled in the settings on your smartphone. On an iPhone go to your Settings Icon, select Safari and scroll down to the Privacy and Security tab to ensure Block All Cookies is disabled. On an android device, visit the settings within your mobile browser to ensure cookies are enabled.
     
  10. CAN I ALSO ACCESS MY WIZARDS, MYSTICS, BRIGADE OR VALOR TICKETS ONLINE? Yes, using Monumental Sports Account Manager you can access your tickets for all your teams in one convenient location. Monumental Sports Account Manager is your central location for all Monumental Sports tickets!
