What is the status of the 2019-20 NHL regular season?

The 2019-20 regular season is declared concluded through games of March 11. Any games originally scheduled from March 12 - April 4 will not be played.

 

What happens to the rest of the money on my account for the 2019-20 Season if I renewed for next season?

All funds previously paid toward games scheduled for the remainder of the 2019-20 season will be automatically applied as a credit to the balance of your 2020-21 Club Red 365 membership. Also, as a thank you for your loyalty, in addition to continuing to offer all of the membership benefits that you've become accustomed to, including our annual member gifts and exclusive events, we will apply a bonus credit toward your 2020-21 Club Red 365 Membership in the value of 3% of your net ticket credit. This credit will be applied to the balance of your 2020-21 membership immediately. If you have already paid off your 2020-21 tickets this will be applied as bonus credit.

 

What happens to the rest of the money on my account for the rest of the 2019-20 Season if I have not renewed for next season? 

All funds previously paid toward games scheduled for the remainder of the 2019-20 season will be automatically applied as a credit to the balance of your membership account. Also, as a thank you for your loyalty, in addition to continuing to offer all of the membership benefits that you've become accustomed to, including our annual member gifts and exclusive events, we will apply a bonus credit toward your 2020-21 Club Red 365 Membership in the value of 3% of your net ticket credit provided you ultimately decide to renew your seats for the 2020-21 season. This bonus credit will be applied to your account immediately.

 

What happens to the rest of the money on my account for the 2019-20 Season if I purchased season tickets for next season?

All funds previously paid toward games scheduled for the 2019-20 season will be automatically applied as a credit to the balance of your 2020-21 Club Red 365 membership. Also, as a thank you for your loyalty, in addition to continuing to offer all of the membership benefits that you've become accustomed to, including our annual member gifts and exclusive events, we will apply a bonus credit toward your 2020-21 Club Red 365 Membership in the value of 3% of your net ticket credit. This credit will be applied to the balance of your 2020-21 membership immediately. If you have already paid off your 2020-21 tickets this will be applied as bonus credit.

 

What happens to the money on my Partial Plan account?

We are going to automatically apply all funds previously paid toward games scheduled for the remainder of the 2019-20 season as a credit to your Capitals account. Also, as a thank you for your loyalty, we will apply a bonus credit to your account in the value of 3% of your net ticket credit. This bonus credit will be applied to your account immediately and may be used toward the purchase of your Capitals ticket plan for the 2020-21 season. You will also be given priority access to select your plan and seat locations for the 2020-21 season. 

 

What happens to the money on my Group Ticket account?

We are going to automatically apply all funds previously paid toward games scheduled for the remainder of the 2019-20 season as a credit to your Capitals account. Also, as a thank you for your loyalty, we will apply a bonus credit to your account in the value of 3% of your net ticket credit. This bonus credit will be applied to your account immediately and may be used toward the purchase of any Capitals ticket product for the 2020-21 season. You will also be given priority access to select your games and seat locations (subject to availability) for the 2020-21 season. 

 

What if I previously re-sold tickets via Ticketmaster.com for unplayed games & received payment? 

The proceeds from that transaction will be deducted from the value of your account credit, as all secondary market transactions will be reversed now that affected games have been canceled. No action will be required on your part. 

The remaining net ticket credit value after any deduction will automatically carry over to your seats for the 2020-21 Capitals season and be applied to the remaining balance due. Future payment amounts for your 2020-21 payment plan will be adjusted so that the updated balance of your account is evenly distributed over the duration of the payment plan. 

 

How do I receive a refund for tickets purchased online from Ticketmaster.com or TM TicketExchange?

All tickets purchased via Ticketmaster.com for remaining 2019-20 Capitals games have been canceled. More information will be communicated from Ticketmaster soon regarding your refund status. No action is required on your part at this time.

 

How do I receive a refund for tickets purchased directly from the Capital One Arena Box Office?

The Capital One Arena Box Office can assist with refunds for tickets you purchased in person at the Box Office. Please click here to submit a contact form. A member of the Capital One Arena Box Office staff will respond with available options on how you can receive your refund. 

 

What happens if I bought my tickets from another source outside of the Arena Box Office, The Washington Capitals, or Ticketmaster? 

Fans that did not purchase directly from the Capitals, Ticketmaster.com, or the Capital One Arena Box Office should contact the original point of purchase for more information. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with purchases made via any other source. 

 

What happens if I was forwarded Capitals Tickets to a postponed game from someone else?

All tickets for remaining 2019-20 Capitals games have been canceled. No action is required on your part. If you purchased your tickets, please contact your original point of purchase for more information.

 

What if I have a question about suites or Players Club tickets?
